Girona Trail Running Experience
Join us for a week-long outdoor trail running adventure in Girona, where our passion for running is easily enjoyed in the beautiful terrain that it offers just a stone's throw away from our cobble-stoned medieval town. With Christian Meier as your guide and training partner for this week, it's time to jump in. Don't worry though, the daily runs will be tailored to the levels of the runners so everyone will get to run the pace and distance that suits them best.
Experience Girona trail running like never before, through the lush and green hillsides, up the mountains to be rewarded with views of the Mediterranean coast and the Pyrenees while enjoying everything this amazing city has to offer.
This catered experience includes many highlights, such as daily breakfast at La Fabrica; Girona's first specialty cafe offering a colorful and tasty explosion of healthy and indulgent options to get you fueled up before you head out, daily guided runs with Christian to some of his favorite trails, afternoon coffee and cake at Espresso Mafia, dinners at some of our favorite gems in Girona, a recon day on the racecourse, and finishing the week with a Klassmark race.
With trail running currently being a beautifully untapped experience in Girona, we want to offer this package as the first of its kind here in our hometown, so you can fall in love, firsthand with the amazing trails that sit at our doorstep.
We will have two options with either a 7-day or 5-dayformat available but both include the main features of the course recon day and the race itself.

The food
Fueling well is crucial and something we take very seriously which is why each morning we will start the day with breakfast at our very own La Fabrica, Girona's first specialty cafe and brunch hotspot. For an afternoon pick me up there will be coffee and cake at our sister location Espresso Mafia.
Group dinners will take in some of the city's coolest destinations that will keep us going on the trails and feeling good.
The race
Klassmark is one of Spain´s, if not Europe's top event organizers. Producing challenging yet incredibly rewarding trail running races around Girona and Catalunya, while focusing on the environment and minimizing the impact of their events to insure a better future for the planet. To prepare our best for the race we will do a day of running on the course so you know what to expect on race day!
