This special bar was developed at the request of BORA – hansgrohe's professional cyclists. Different carbohydrate sources (optimum ratio of glucose to fructose in 2:1; plus cyclic dextrin) enable a particularly high energy supply – with optimum digestibility:
This makes the INTENSITY BAR perfect for competitions and intensive training.
Another special feature: the different carbohydrate sources with fast, medium-fast and slower energy release ensure a fast but equally continuous supply of energy.
What's more, the INTENSITY BAR is virtually fat-free and contains no gluten or lactose. Instead, real apricot provides valuable vitamins, antioxidants and minerals – and gives the bar a naturally fruity taste.
- Ingredients: 15% apricot sulphurized, rice syrup, isomaltulose*, rice crispies (rice flour), fructose, apple pulp, 6% Cluster Dextrin™ (highly branched cyclic dextrin), cane sugar, tapioca starch, 1.2% lemon fruit powder, rock salt, sodium citrate / *Isomaltulose is a source of glucose and fructose.Consuming products that contain isomaltulose (Palatinose™) instead of other sugars causes blood sugar levels to rise less sharply after consumption than when consuming sugary drinks
